CAD.av.mx Symbol for maximum average pedaling cadence over a continuous range of time. As a more specific example, the symbol CAD.av.mx_00:04:00 denotes the maximum average pedaling cadence measured over a continuous time of 4 minutes.
PowerCoach features three types of result tables for the quantities of such maximum average pedaling cadence within time series. Each of those tables, called PERFORMANCE MX tables, offers a set of 128 result values:
. PERF CAD [0:01] table discriminates 128 steps of 0:01 for CAD.av.mx time ranges up to 2:08.
. PERF CAD [0:16] table discriminates 128 steps of 0:16 for CAD.av.mx time ranges up to 34:08.
. PERF CAD [4:16] table discriminates 128 steps of 4:16 for CAD.av.mx time ranges up to 9:06:08.
Typically, the high resolution table of [0:01] is used to explore short time performances, like standing starts or sprints. The medium resolution table of [0:16] is used to assess performances of longer durations, up to approximately half an hour. The low resolution table of [4:16] reflects performances lasting up to several hours.
